Question about WD Red Plus

I would like a hard drive that is as quiet as possible for secondary storage (I have the OS on an SSD) for school documents and photos. Does this hard disk bring me any disadvantages in desktop PC operation or does it work without problems? Many thanks and best regards

WD Red is a hard disk with TLER (Time limited error recovery). This hard disk is designed for NAS and Raid in which redundancy is present. If this hard drive encounters a bad sector, it will stop trying to read the data after a short time and return the sector as bad, while a desktop hard drive will continue to try to recover the data.
This drive is NOT intended for desktop use!
