Question about LaCie Mobile Drive - Moon Silver

I used this hard drive on my Intel Macbook Pro without any problems. It is not recognised on my new Macbook Pro with M1 processor. Not even as a device in Disk Utility. Is this a known problem? Solutions?

I also have a MacBook Pro 2020 and have never had any problems. LaCie Mobile Drive - Moon Silver (5 TB) is always recognised and I have been doing my TM backups on it for maybe 1 year. It is connected to the MacBook via USB-C.
