Question about Denon AVR X1800H DAB

I have the predecessor model AVR X1500. For about two years now, the Denon Remote app (latest iOS version, all updates done) has not been working for me. I can connect the receiver, but the app freezes. The Heos app also works perfectly. Does anyone have experience with the Denon Remote app? Does it work with this receiver?

Hi, I recently purchased the AVR X 1800 and the Denon iPhone app version 3.12.1. I don't use it much, but all the main functions of the receiver work on my iPhone.

I had a similar experience, the older app is buggy and not properly supported.
