Sonos One Gen2
Airplay 2, Wi-Fi
I have now bought a PLAYBAR, SUB and 2 SONOS ONE (2GEN). Now I notice that Alexa sometimes can't decide in which One she should answer. Now my question is it a mistake to use 2 Sonos One in the same room as 5.1 or should I rather use one Sonos One and one SL in the same room?
I hope I have given you the right answer:
Alexa lists all speakers individually, this is normal, even if they are in a SONOS group. I assume Alexa is supposed to treat the whole thing as a speaker group. To do this, you must also assign this speaker group as a group in Alexa under alexa.amazon.de.
Important: The individual speakers are still listed individually, but you then also have an additional group, which are all addressed directly with a command with synchronisation.
If your concern is something else, then unfortunately I can't help either, as I only own HEOS. I have experience with SONOS through customer assignments ;-)
