I have an internet speed of 1Gbit. When I measure via the docking station, I just about get 50Mbit. Directly via the computer I get 900-980Mbit. It can't be that I have a loss of approx. 900Mbit via the docking station? Is the station defective or have I overlooked certain settings? Greetings.

Hello robygloby200
700-800 mbit is no problem for me without any special settings. This is on a lenovo, hp and mac. So I can't help you, just with the info that it is possible. And i have everything connected via the dock, 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse and the lenovo via usb.

Hello robygloby200
Congratulations on your fast line :-)
I have the dock on a Lenovo notebook running Win10 and Linux Mint 20.x (dual boot) and both are running 'full booze', i.e. on a G.Fast network which delivers approx. 530/120Mbps. I tested under Firefox and speedtest.net.
Maybe check the driver/connection cable/power supply of the dock? Is it the same network port/cable in your comparison? If not (or even otherwise :-) ) use the same infrastructure / see how the network connects (if the router/switch shows this). Is anything else running on the same USB port? (I have 1 monitor on my dock). Try another USB port (3.x)? (mine runs on USB-C)
