I am concerned about the compatibility of the graphics card with my computer. I have purchased an Acer Nitro 50, with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, and an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2901 Mhz, 8 core(s), 16 processor. Can I install this graphics card on it without any problems or will I have problems?
The only problem is that the bandwidth of the PCI-E is determined by your processor, so you have to expect about 50% performance loss if you use a PCI-E 4 GPU in a PCI-E 3 slot. Otherwise there are no problems as PCI-E are backwards compatible.
Should usually run without problems!
However, the PCI Express slot on the mainboard should be a PCI-E 4.0x16, so check the respective manual!
It is also recommended to use a power supply with at least 550 watts, but 750 watts or more would be better in order to have sufficient power!
However, you should pay attention to the length of the graphics card to see if it fits into the case, which is approx. 29.5 cm long.
If it is mainly used for gaming, the GeForce RTX™ 3060 Ti GAMING OC 8G is a better choice or go straight to the GeForce RTX3080!
Normally yes, no problem. If I were you, I'd go for a 3080 with maximum performance 😉
