How thick is this mat? Does it keep out noise? I want to stick it in the cupboard where the water heater is. It makes noise when it heats up

Hello Erich,
Good 1 cm. I stuck them on my shelf to muffle the sound from my NAS a little. But I can't tell you if it's really quieter. Since the shelf is open at the front and back, it probably didn't help much. Maybe it's better in a closed cupboard. You can cut the mats well and they stick really well.
