How do I open this damned battery compartment of the Smartcontrol? I've already watched 10 Youtoube videos and haven't got any further. This will soon be a reason for me to return the part.

Turn the remote control with its back facing towards me. 2. Turn the remote control so that the arrow symbol at the bottom is pointing away from me. 3. 3. place both thumbs in the centre of the unit and push down firmly.
