How can I imagine the insulation of this product? Are voices or party noise still audible when a door is insulated with it?

The product does not insulate noise. It is mounted where the noise is generated and the sound is absorbed by the surface.

That's all right! Not against noise. I think correct would be: 'takes the HALL' - not 'the sound'. By reverb is meant the reverberation/echo in a (recording) room, which reflects less back into the room. Whereas sound, i.e. the noise can still be heard outside.

But for it to really work for the reverb, you need almost a whole wall/room. The alternative would be two real acoustic panels made of rock wool, e.g. from Thomann (sorry digitec). Two are enough for this, so they are not much more expensive.

I would only use foam directly behind the mic. There are cheap mounts for that. This way the reverberation can be dampened a bit, spreads in the room and again on the way back directly in front of the mic.

The product does not really work well in noise.
