I can confirm this, I have had both in my system for about a year. As diede.ruelens has already written, I also had to do a BIOS update, simply via USB flashback, works even without an installed CPU !

Yes, it fits. It is possible that you still have to do a BIOS update, can be easily done with USB flashback: https://edgeup.asus.com/2020...
