Is it possible to configure this device in such a way that ultimately only two PCs can access this network drive, even if other devices are in the same LAN or WLAN network?
If so, how complex is it? Can it be done in understandable steps without experience in setting up networks, or is it something for experts?

Hello - there are 2 alternatives: a) create 2 users on the device (see chapter 5 in the manual https://documents.westerndigital.com/content/dam/doc-library/de_de/assets/public/wd/product/nas/my_cloud/ex2_ultra/user-manual-my-cloud-expert-series-ex2-ultra.pdf) or b) via router (then it will be more difficult at best) but this way the access to individual IPs could be limited.
