Question about Gembird USB — HDMI (Typ A)
Hello :) I ordered this adapter yesterday and it was delivered today. So far so good :) I was recommended it and told that it should work with any laptop (that has this USB input). My laptop: Dell Latitude E6410 I would like to mirror my screen. Today I connected the USB adapter to my Panasonic flat screen via HDMI cable & also connected it to my laptop. My laptop recognised and installed everything. Via the Windows USB display I can see that everything has been installed and the HDMI connection is displayed. For example, when I watch a video (during the cable connection with the TV) I do not hear any sound through the laptop. That works. EVERYWHERE, the screen is NOT transferred/mirrored, neither automatically nor when I click on recognise (at screen resolution - I have Windows 7). The screen/TV is not recognised. What could be the reason for this?
It didn't work for me at first, then I opened the programme that came up when I plugged it in, uninstalled it and reinstalled it. if that doesn't work, go into the device manager and delete the driver of the adapter and reinstall it.
Hello, unfortunately I can't help either. My adapter was damaged and directly destroyed 2 notebooks with a short circuit. I then solved the problem in a different way.
I'm not a technician and can't help you. I solved it via the Apple Tv Box. Bought the adapter for free. 😂
