Hello, I bought this product without paying attention to the fact that it was intended for NAS use. I thought I would use it as a normal HDD for my backups. It doesn't seem to be recognised with the product "Orico Dual bay USB3.0 HDD docking station with cloning function". How can I get it to work without having to buy a NAS?

Here is a description of how you should proceed, as explained by vecors99:
Initialise hard disk under Windows. New hard disks must be initialised under Windows before you can use them. We will show you how to do this

This HDD should work with your docking station. Maybe the system isn't showing it to you, because it isn't formatted yet? With the disk utility, you should be able to see it and format it. If not, it could be a fault in one of the components (disk, station, cable...).
