Hey! I was able to get it running within minutes with a 10940X without any BIOS updates, so yes. This is actually quite different from other X299 boards(probably because the Encore was released much later), as I first bought a board for the same CPU from EVGA and could not get it to work even with shipped BIOS chips from EVGA.
