Question about Samsung Flip 2 WM55R
Hello Community :) We have just bought the Samsung Flip 2. It stands on a stand that allows the display to rotate 90° (Peerless AV SR560-FLIP2). SW update is done. Unfortunately, the software does not rotate when the display is turned from horizontal (landscape format) to vertical (portrait format). This means that all menus are difficult to read. Is this normal? I thought it was easy to turn the display, just like on a mobile phone! I am grateful for any advice! Regards

I have solved it. The solution was basically quite simple. The Flip2 has to be rotated clockwise to portrait so that the software rotates with it. Counterclockwise does not work and the software remains horizontal. In our case, however, the Flip2 was mounted on the stand in landscape format, while the rotating mechanism of the stand (Peerless AV SR560-FLIP2) was also oriented transversely/horizontally. This is possible because the Flip2 has a 400x400mm Vesa mount. Instead, the Flip2 should have been screwed in landscape format onto a rotating mechanism in portrait format. Then clockwise rotation to portrait is possible & the software rotates with it. :)
