Hello, can you confirm that this is a secure external hard drive (protected by a password)?

Yes, password protection is included, but it is very cumbersome. You have to install an app and the encryption processing was very slow when tested. As we have different people using the SSD on the club board, I immediately switched off the encryption for these two reasons.
