has the bios been updated in the meantime so that you can install a ryzen 5000 cpu without any problems?

Yep, but you have to update the BIOS before installation. But you can also do this directly on the MB via USB stick.

As of BIOS version 2607 (17.8.2020), all current Ryzen 5000 CPUs are supported. I myself use BIOS version 3801 with a Ryzen 3700X. From my experience with ASUS motherboards, BIOS updates for CPU support are always provided relatively promptly. The support for new features such as "Resizable BAR" is flawless.
