Does the printer really consume 60 watts in standby? I can hardly imagine that, especially since it is advertised as "energy-saving".

Standby Means warmed up and ready to print,
is only the case 30-90 seconds after printing in normal operation.

E.g.
-> Energy saving mode/Deep sleep
-> Heating/Printing
-> standby
-> energy saving mode
-> Deep sleep

See manufacturer's page:

uck: 335 W
In standby: 60 W
Energy saving mode: 5.5 W
Deep sleep mode: 0.57 W

Therefore yes in standby mode. However, deep sleep mode only requires 0.57 W
