Question about HP M177fw Color LaserJet Pro
Does the machine have a port for a USB stick so that you can scan documents onto it?
The HP Officejet Pro 8620, for example, is such an HP model.
You insert the USB stick and the printer automatically recognises the memory.
There are then two options to choose from.
1. print photos from the USB stick
2. scan to storage medium
HP creates a folder on the USB stick with the folder "HPSCANS", all documents are stored there.
No, the 177fw cannot do that. Scans are converted to PDF on the PC. However, there are models from HP and Brother that support this function with integrated FIrmware. Unfortunately, I don't know which models these are.
