Does the device also work without a dongle, i.e. can it communicate directly with the laptop? I just received an Evolve2 that had a dongle, but apparently is not Bluetooth connectable with another device. The Evolve2 doesn't have a toggle switch to turn on Bluetooth. There are somehow quite a few different versions of this Evolve2. There are quite a few different versions of this Evolve2 and it is difficult to keep track of them.

I have the device with a dongle for the business laptop. But I also use the headphones with the iPhone and the TV. So yes, it works without the dongle. You can pair it like any other Bluetooth device. The best thing to do is download the Sound+ app from Jabra to your mobile phone. There you will find the exact pairing instructions and you can also connect the headset and personalise the settings.
