Does anyone have any experience how well the display (AMOLED) is readable in direct sunlight? I would like to use it for the Mavic Air as a controller (the iPad-mini is too dark)?

I don't have the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, but I do have a Samsung Galaxy S8 (also AMOLED) and I can say that I haven't had any problems with the display. Everything was easy to read and saw absolutely everything. The problem with the automatic brightness is that the device can get very hot. Samsung also warns you to leave the phone on maximum brightness for a long time.
