Question about Sony Ht-Sf200
can I still control the volume using the existing remote control? I have an older Panasonic TV and use the Quickline remote control.
Via HDMI without any problems, in my opinion.
Normally, the TV must be able to use CEC (the TV can then communicate via HDMI using this protocol):

So depending on the TV model (and whether CEC is also supported), it can work. The Soundbar definitely supports CEC and that's how we use it (we don't need the Soundbar's remote control, everything is controlled via the TV remote control).
