Question about Raspberry Pi 2, model B
According to digitec specifications, the Ethernet speed is only 100Mbit/s even with this Pi. Does anyone know if this (with the Broadcom BCM2836 processor) is fast enough for 4K UHD series?
It has too little power for 4k decoding. Then it would have to downscale the material to 1080p. It will be very tight ;-)
Maybe something in the style of Intel NUC with an i Prözi would be something? (There are now many small Intel boxes, I don't have an overview).
Above all, the Pi 2 has a faster processor with 4 cores and more RAM. The Ethernet interface is still connected via USB and even 100 MBit remains a dream. More importantly, videos only work with max. 1080p.
