With conventional snow guns, the device has to be positioned high up. But the new S-500 can be placed anywhere, so you don't have to lift it after topping up the liquid.
What's more, if you fill the 20-litre tank completely, you can work for an entire show evening without having to top up the liquid.
You can use the supplied flexible hose together with the (optional) pan motor (PM-1) to spread the snow over 120°. That's four times the surface area of the old models.
