3. Victron Energy Smart Battery Protect 12/24V--220A BPR122022000 Battery Isolator

The Victron Battery-Protect BP-220 disconnects the battery from less important consumers before it is fully discharged, which could cause damage, or before it no longer has enough energy to start the engine. Additionally, the BP series features overvoltage protection, which disconnects the load at 16 V or 32 V battery voltage, safeguarding against damage. The BP supports AGM, lead-acid, gel, and lithium batteries.

Six different disconnect thresholds are adjustable. The Battery-Protect is highly flexible and can be set to various disconnect voltages. The following disconnect thresholds can be activated on the device: 10.5 V / 21 V, 10 V / 20 V, 9.5 V / 19 V, 11.25 V / 22.5 V, 11.5 V / 23 V, 11.8 V / 23.6 V. Additionally, there are different reconnection thresholds available for most disconnect thresholds. This makes the device the perfect protection for your battery, ensuring maximum lifespan, as most voltage converters or charge controllers do have undervoltage protection, but this typically activates at quite low values, usually around 10.5 V / 21 V. The higher the disconnect threshold, the longer you will enjoy your batteries, which are generally quite costly.

The selection of the disconnect threshold depends on the battery type, as different minimum battery voltages must be adhered to in order to avoid damaging the battery.

4. Victron Energy RJ12 UTP BMV ASS030066300 Connecting cable

This Victron RJ12 UTP cable (MPN ASS030066300) is required to connect a BMV shunt to the BMV monitor. Typically, an RJ12 cable is supplied with the BMV monitor, but if it is too short or too long, you can replace it with this cable.

Product features:
- Connector type: RJ12 on both ends
- Length: 30 metres

Included in the package:
1x Victron RJ12 UTP cable 30m.

5. Victron Energy VE.Direct to RS232 ASS030520500 adapter cable

Use this cable to connect a Victron product with a VE.Direct interface to an RS232 port.

6. Victron Energy Argofet 200-2, 2 batteries 200A

Argo FET Battery Separation

Similar to isolating diodes, FET isolators allow simultaneous charging of two or more batteries through an alternator or through a charger
connection without connecting the batteries together. Discharging the on-board battery does not result in simultaneous discharging of the starter battery. In contrast to isolating diodes, there is practically no voltage loss with FET isolators. The voltage drop is less than 0.02 volts at low currents and only 0.1 volts at higher currents. With ARGO FET battery isolation, no voltage increase is required. However, one should pay attention to short cable lengths and sufficient cross-sections.

Generator start-up excitation
Some generator types require a DC voltage at the B+ pole for start-up excitation. On the one hand, there is a direct cable connection between the battery and the generator. On the other hand, however, the isolating diode prevents the current from flowing back, so that the generator does not start. The new Argofet battery isolator has a special current-limited connection for start excitation when the generator is started.

7. Victron Energy BatteryProtect 48V BP-100A

The Victron Battery-Protect BP-48-100 disconnects the battery from less critical consumers before it is fully discharged, which could cause damage, or before it no longer has enough energy to start the engine. Additionally, the BP series features overvoltage protection that disconnects the load in case of overvoltage, preventing damage. The BP supports AGM, lead-acid, gel, and lithium batteries. An inverter must never be connected to the Victron Battery-Protect BP-48-100.

Six different disconnection thresholds are adjustable. The Battery-Protect is very flexible and can be set to various disconnection voltages. You can find the exact values in the user manual for this item. Additionally, there are different reconnection thresholds available for most disconnection thresholds. This makes the device the perfect protective device for your battery, ensuring maximum lifespan, as most voltage converters or charge controllers do have undervoltage protection, but it typically activates at quite low values, usually around 10.5 V / 21 V. The higher this disconnection threshold is set, the longer you will enjoy your batteries, which are generally quite expensive.

8. Victron Energy BP 100

The Victron Battery-Protect BP-100 (MPN BPR000100400) disconnects the battery from the less important loads before it is completely discharged (which would damage it) or before it no longer has sufficient energy to start the engine, etc. The BP series also has an overvoltage protection which disconnects the load at 16V or 32V and protects it from damage. In addition, the BP series has overvoltage protection that shuts down the load at 16V or 32V battery voltage and prevents damage. The BP supports AGM, lead-acid, gel and lithium batteries.6 different switch-off thresholds can be setThe Battery Protect is very flexible and can be set to different switch-off voltages. The following cut-off thresholds can be activated on the device: 10.5V / 21V, 10V / 20V, 9.5V / 19V, 11.25V / 22.5V, 11.5V / 23V,11.8V 23.6VDIn addition, there are different reset thresholds that can be selected for most cut-off thresholds. This device is the right protection for your battery and ensures a maximum lifetime, because most voltage converters or charge controllers have an undervoltage protection, but this only intervenes at quite low values, which are usually in the range of 10.5V / 21V. The higher this switch-off threshold is, the more the battery is protected. The higher the cut-off threshold, the longer you will be able to enjoy your batteries, which are usually quite expensive. Selection of the cut-off thresholdDepending on the battery type, different minimum battery voltages apply that must be adhered to in order not to damage the battery.

9. Victron Energy Argodiode 80-2AC, 2 batteries 80A

Argo Battery Disconnect Diodes 80-2SC

Battery disconnect diodes allow for the simultaneous charging of multiple batteries from a single power source without connecting
the individual batteries together. For example, the onboard network battery can be loaded without simultaneously discharging the starter battery. By utilizing modern Schottky diodes, the voltage loss is kept low, approximately 0.3 V at low currents and around 0.45 V at rated current.

All models in this series are equipped with a compensation diode that slightly increases the output voltage of the alternator to compensate for the voltage loss caused by the Schottky diodes.

If the disconnect diode is connected directly into the wiring between the alternator and the battery without additional measures, a voltage loss occurs, leading to incomplete charging and premature aging of the battery. Some types of generators require a DC voltage at the B+ terminal for starting excitation. The connection between the battery and the generator creates a direct cable connection, while the disconnect diode prevents current backflow, which can prevent the generator from starting.

The new 802AC battery disconnect diode features a special current-limited connection for starting excitation when the generator is started.

10. Victron Energy Argodiode 80-2SC, 2 batteries 80A

Argo Battery Disconnect Diodes 80-2SC

Battery disconnect diodes allow for the simultaneous charging of multiple batteries from a single power source without the
batteries being connected to each other. For example, the onboard network battery can be loaded without simultaneously discharging the starter battery. By utilizing modern Schottky diodes, the voltage loss is kept low, approximately 0.3 V at low currents and about 0.45 V at rated current.

All models in this series are equipped with a compensation diode that slightly increases the output voltage of the alternator to compensate for the voltage loss caused by the Schottky diodes.

If the disconnect diode is connected directly into the wiring between the alternator and battery without further measures, a voltage loss occurs, leading to incomplete charging and premature aging of the battery. Some types of generators require a DC voltage at the B+ terminal for starting excitation. The connection between the battery and generator creates a direct cable link. However, the disconnect diode prevents current backflow, which means the generator cannot start.

The new 802AC battery disconnect diode features a special current-limited connection for starting excitation when the generator is started.
