The Victron Battery-Protect BP-220 disconnects the battery from less important consumers before it is fully discharged, which could cause damage, or before it no longer has enough energy to start the engine. Additionally, the BP series features overvoltage protection, which disconnects the load at 16 V or 32 V battery voltage, safeguarding against damage. The BP supports AGM, lead-acid, gel, and lithium batteries.
Six different disconnect thresholds are adjustable. The Battery-Protect is highly flexible and can be set to various disconnect voltages. The following disconnect thresholds can be activated on the device: 10.5 V / 21 V, 10 V / 20 V, 9.5 V / 19 V, 11.25 V / 22.5 V, 11.5 V / 23 V, 11.8 V / 23.6 V. Additionally, there are different reconnection thresholds available for most disconnect thresholds. This makes the device the perfect protection for your battery, ensuring maximum lifespan, as most voltage converters or charge controllers do have undervoltage protection, but this typically activates at quite low values, usually around 10.5 V / 21 V. The higher the disconnect threshold, the longer you will enjoy your batteries, which are generally quite costly.

Lynx Shunt VE.Can
The Lynx Shunt VE.Can contains a positive and negative busbar, a battery monitor and a fuse holder for the system's main fuse (CNN). The built-in battery monitor allows the state of charge of the battery to be accurately monitored. The Lynx Shunt VE.Can can communicate with a GX unit via VE.Can or be connected to a chart plotter via NMEA2000, where the battery data is then displayed. It is part of the Lynx modular distribution system. It can only be programmed via a GX unit.
Argo FET Battery Separation
Similar to isolating diodes, FET isolators allow simultaneous charging of two or more batteries through an alternator or through a charger connection without connecting the batteries together. Discharging the on-board battery does not result in simultaneous discharging of the starter battery. In contrast to isolating diodes, there is practically no voltage loss with FET isolators. The voltage drop is less than 0.02 volts at low currents and only 0.1 volts at higher currents. With ARGO FET battery isolation, no voltage increase is required. However, one should pay attention to short cable lengths and sufficient cross-sections.
Generator start-up excitation
Some generator types require a DC voltage at the B+ pole for start-up excitation. On the one hand, there is a direct cable connection between the battery and the generator. On the other hand, however, the isolating diode prevents the current from flowing back, so that the generator does not start. The new Argofet battery isolator has a special current-limited connection for start excitation when the generator is started.
