The selection of the disconnect threshold depends on the battery type, as different minimum battery voltages must be adhered to in order to avoid damaging the battery.

The Lynx Shunt VE.Can includes a positive and negative busbar, a battery monitor, and a fuse holder for the system's main fuse. With the built-in battery monitor, the state of charge of the battery can be accurately monitored. The Lynx Shunt VE.Can can communicate with a GX device via VE.Can or be connected to a chart plotter via NMEA2000, where the battery data will be displayed.
