Das Zeiss ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und bietet eine sehr gute Mechanik, die die Bedienung sehr komfortabel macht. Während bei einer geringen Blende die Vignettierung deutlich sichtbar ist, erledigt sich das Problem wenn man größere Öffnungen wählt, wobei die Abbildungsleistung mehr als solide ist. Allerdings ist der AF eher träge.

    Speziell für Naturfotografen oder Nutzer, die im Makrobereich ihre Arbeiten sehen, ist das Zeiss ein echtes Talent. Dabei arbeitet es sehr leise sowie präzise. Allerdings ist der Autofokus eher als träge zu werten. Ein besondere Spezialist hierfür ist er auch gar nicht, sodass man ihm das kaum vorwerfen kann.
