The Zebra RS6100 is a robust Bluetooth ring scanner suitable for both right- and left-handed users. Weighing just 70 grams, it is extremely lightweight and can be carried almost anywhere throughout the day. This makes it the perfect partner in demanding work environments such as warehousing, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, retail, and field service. The RS6100 is equipped with a powerful 480 mAh rechargeable battery that is ready for use for up to 12 hours when fully charged or can perform up to 14,400 scans. For cold environments or longer shifts, Zebra offers an extended battery with 735 mAh. In addition to NFC, the ring scanner also features Bluetooth support, allowing it to remain connected even up to 90 meters away from the host device. The RS6100 reliably and quickly captures 1D and 2D barcodes as well as OCR thanks to Zebra's intelligent combination of imaging hardware, software, and optics (PRZM) and a powerful megapixel sensor, even in challenging conditions—whether damaged, dirty, or poorly printed. A clear beep or several programmable LEDs on the back of the scanner, which can also blink if needed, provides unmistakable reading confirmation. An optional vibration function is also integrated. The ring scanner is robust as well: it can withstand multiple drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters without any issues and is fully protected against dust ingress and water jets according to its IP65 certification. Additionally, the metal buckles and nylon straps do not stretch, reducing wear and tear.
