Zebra DS2208

The affordable Zebra DS2208 all-purpose barcode scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes in seconds - from classic paper and plastic labels as well as from the display of a smartphone. It captures customer cards, promotional codes, vouchers and much more directly from the customer's smartphone for easy billing - ideal for use in retail and hospitality, even at peak times. The DS2208 automatically recognises manual and presentation mode by simply inserting or removing the card from the presentation stand.

Thanks to comprehensive pre-configuration, the multifunctional area imager is ready to use straight from the factory - unpack it and off you go. The DS2208 automatically recognises the connection cable (either USB, RS232, KBW or IBM) when connected thanks to Auto-Host-Detect; no further settings are required. Thanks to Zebra's free SMS (Scanner Management Service) remote software, you can manage and configure the DS2208 and many other models worldwide from your PC, smartphone or tablet. Zebra makes it easy for you to switch from 1D to 2D with full backwards compatibility to all existing connection cables of the widely used Zebra LS2208.
