The PX-A 3-channel mixer and headphone amplifier is a beltpack unit that accepts three audio signals, allowing you to mix them as desired and pass the mixed signal to your in-ear monitors, earphones, or headphones.

Choose your sources

You can select what you need to hear and adjust as necessary during a performance. For instance, singers need to control their own volume while also hearing the instruments for pitch reference. Input 1 might be an aux mix including only their vocal or a mix of all vocals with their voice loudest; Input 2 could have a mix of guitar and keyboards, and Input 3 could be a mix of bass and kick drum. This is just one example!

For singers

If you're a singer, you need to hear your own voice loud and clear to avoid straining your voice. You also need to hear the instruments for a solid pitch reference to ensure you sing in tune. Additionally, you want to hear and feel the rhythm to keep your singing in the groove.

For instrumentalists

If you play an instrument, you want to hear what you're playing clearly to avoid fatigue and to appreciate the subtleties of your performance. You also need to hear the vocals to stay connected with the structure and emotion of the song, as well as the drums to maintain timing and groove with the group.

For drummers

If you're a drummer, you want to hear the drums well enough to have an accurate sense of balance within your kit and to feel the impact of your kick and snare. You also need to hear the bass to function effectively as part of the rhythm section.
