The Xiaomi Pad 5 is an exceptional Android tablet. The choice of hardware components is great. The tablet convinces with its design, strong performance, good equipment as well as the beautiful display and great speakers. The software is typical for an Android tablet. It is okay, but cannot keep up with an iPad.
The price range suggests it: The differences are great. The very affordable price-performance winner from Medion is suitable for writing tasks and comes with a keyboard free of charge. The Xiaomi Pad 5 and Apple's iPad score points for speed and endurance, and their good displays also allow video enjoyment. The test winner iPad Air is suitable for creative focuses that are energy-sapping.
An iPad is not the only answer to the question of the right tablet, even if Apple can score points with durability and reliable support. The Pad 5 counters this with its elegant design, attractive display and - if you can afford a keyboard and stylus - a certain amount of working power...
- Modern design with particularly narrow edges
- High touch quality and very good workmanship
- 120 hertz display delivers a great presentation
- Android top MIUI with many extras and updates
- Pen operation possible
- Very long battery life
