Wirewin UTP patch cables are characterized by their high quality and are suitable for Gigabit connections with a operating frequency of up to 250 MHz. Applications for Category 6 cables include voice, multimedia, and data transmission as well as ATM networks. The wires are made of 100% unshielded copper and the cable features bend protection. The sheath is made of halogen-free materials and is highly flame-resistant. The UTP cable consists of a plastic sheath containing unshielded, twisted pairs. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter, making them easy to handle and install. The bend protection sleeves in a particularly slim design allow for comfortable cabling even with larger switches with 48 ports or more.
