Product details

Wirewin® patch cables of category 6A comply with the values according to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2, enabling data transmission of 10 GBit/s. The category 6A is specified with 500 MHz. The cable for these patch cables is double-shielded. Each pair is enclosed in its own foil shielding, with an additional braided shield on top. This construction is often referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made from halogen-free material, making it flame-resistant. Yellow category 6A RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts are encased in a special Wirewin® strain relief sleeve to protect the plug while allowing for easy insertion. A length marking is located on the underside of the sleeve. All Wirewin® KAT6A patch cables are equipped with this feature.
