Cat. 5e patch cable, 2 m. UV-resistant, durable PVC jacket. 26 AWG wire diameter. Length: 2 m, black, round, suitable for outdoor use. The Wirewin Outdoor Cat. 5e patch cable is ideal for outdoor use due to its UV-resistant jacket. The conductors of the STP cable are made of 100 percent copper. The transmission rate is one gigabit per second. Foiled Unshielded Twisted Pair (F/UTP). In F/UTP cables, all twisted pairs are surrounded by a foil shielding, meaning the overall shield consists of just one layer of foil. Shielded cables exhibit minimal impedance or reactance variations compared to unshielded ones. The transmission parameters remain relatively constant even at high frequencies and are better than those of UTP cables. Category 5/5e. Cat 5 cables are used for signal transmission with high data transfer rates. They are designed for operating frequencies up to 100 MHz and are suitable for Fast or Gigabit Ethernet. The designation 5e comes from a revision of the standards ISO11801 and EN50173, which made them compatible with Gigabit Ethernet. Cat-5e cables are backward compatible with standard Cat-5 cables and are sufficient for home users in almost all situations.
