This module is a shield for Arduino. It provides a simple way to use Arduino as a DMX master device (transmitter). The board is based on the MAX-485 or SN 75176 driver and is equipped with a 3-pin XLR connector. Pin 1 is ground, Pin 2 is data-, and Pin 3 is data+. The circuit board converts the 5V Arduino signal to -2.5 V/+2.5 V for RS485 (DMX is based on the RS485 protocol). The impedance is 100 ohms.
