The standard distributor with bus termination from Weidmüller is a highly advanced solution for connecting up to eight actuators, sensors, or remote I/O devices to a PROFIBUS network. This active distributor is equipped with a terminator and offers an IP66 protection rating, making it ideal for use in demanding environments. The T-pieces allow for easy connection of individual bus components to the bus line, while the maximum length of the branch lines should not exceed 6.6 meters at transmission rates of up to 1.5 MBaud. Installation is carried out via EMC cable glands in a robust aluminum or stainless steel housing, which is equipped with a pressure equalization element to withstand climatic cycles. The distributors are PROFIBUS-DP compatible and ensure uninterrupted bus operation, making them a reliable choice for industrial applications.
