The Weidmüller standard distributor FBCON DP CG is a highly functional solution for connecting up to eight actuators, sensors, or remote I/O devices to a PROFIBUS network. With an IP66 protection rating, this distributor is ideally suited for use in demanding environments. The T-pieces allow for easy connection of bus components to the bus line, with the length of the spur lines depending on the transmission speed. To ensure reliable data transmission, spur lines should be kept as short as possible. The distributor is equipped with EMC cable glands that provide a secure connection in aluminum or stainless steel housings. Additionally, a pressure equalization element ensures stability during climatic cycles. Installation is carried out according to the guidelines of the PROFIBUS user organization to guarantee uninterrupted bus operation.
