As data volumes grow, the My Passport SSD is the perfect extension of limited internal storage. You can set up a password in the WD Security software to protect your content with the built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption.

Cutting-Edge Technology

Designed for both Mac and PC, the My Passport SSD is compatible with traditional Type A USB ports as well as the new USB Type-C connections. With USB Type-C, data transfer rates of up to 515 MB/s are achievable. The SSD is also USB 3.1 Gen 2 capable and compatible with USB 3.0, 2.0, and Type A USB.
