The PCIe to M.2 Adapter HAT+ (B) for the Raspberry Pi 5 enables the simultaneous use of two NVMe M.2 SSDs, significantly increasing the system's storage capacity and performance. The adapter board supports M.2 SSDs in the formats 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 that utilize the NVMe protocol. It offers a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps, providing a fast and efficient storage solution. The connection to the Raspberry Pi 5 is made via the 16-pin PCIe interface, and the board can boot the Pi from one of the connected NVMe SSDs. Thanks to the anti-oxidation coating, the board is particularly durable and resilient. Two integrated LED indicators provide real-time information about the operational status. An embedded power monitoring chip and EEPROM monitor the energy state of the SSDs in real-time to ensure stable operation.
