This is a 1.64 inch 4-colour e-paper display module from Waveshare. The display has a resolution of 168x168 pixels and can show information in four different colours (red, yellow, black, white). The module communicates via the SPI interface. E-ink displays can show information continuously with almost no power consumption. Power is only drawn when the image is refreshed, making them particularly suitable for applications where the same image is displayed over a long period of time, such as price labels or shelf labeling.
