The audio source can be either a freely writable USB stick or an external source that can be connected via Bluetooth. No subscriptions, clouds, apps, or similar are required; instead, users can create their own playlists with their own MP3 content. With the built-in sleep function, the Music Box can also be used as a sleep aid, gradually lowering the volume of stories or music over 30 minutes until it is completely faded out.
