Watterott SilentStepStick TMC2208
Product details
The SilentStepStick TMC2208 from Watterott is a stepper motor driver based on the Trinamic TMC2208. This new SilentStepStick driver significantly improves noise levels when operating stepper motors. The TMC2208 stepper motor driver is designed for continuous currents of up to 1.2 A (RMS) and peak currents of 2 A. To utilize these capabilities, you will need to install a heatsink, which is not included. The drivers also support microstepping (interpolation of up to 256 microsteps), allowing for very smooth and low-vibration movements.
The driver is suitable for the RAMPS 1.4 board or the Arduino CNC Shield and can be used in 3D printers as well as small CNC milling machines. You can also use it for other mechanical Arduino projects where you want to control stepper motors.
Recommended accessories:
- 14.5 x 15 x 13 mm SilentStepStick heatsink
- 9 x 9 x 12 mm SilentStepStick heatsink
Features of SilentStepStick TMC2208:
