Product details
With a boom arm, you can extend the range of lighting, flashes, and other equipment into the third dimension. Attach the boom arm with its tilt mechanism to the 5/8 inch spigot of a light stand or another mount, extend it to the desired length, and swivel and tilt it as needed. Secure your desired equipment at the front on the 5/8 inch spigot or the 1/4 inch thread. The 5/8 inch spigot is flattened, allowing you to rotate the equipment along with the arm and fix it at any angle. With the help of the adjustable holding device on the tilt head and a 1.5 kg screw-on counterweight, you can balance the boom arm so that it exerts little to no leverage on the mount. You are now ready for a new dimension of lighting setup.
Of course, you can also attach other equipment to the boom arm. In addition to lights and flashes, you can use softboxes, reflectors, umbrellas, or microphones. Decorations can also be attached here. However, the boom arm is not suitable as a jib or crane for camera movements. With a highly variable length of 70 to 183 cm and a high load capacity of 5 kg when collapsed and 2 kg when fully extended, you have flexibility in your applications. The clamp closures securely hold the boom arm at the desired length. You can adjust and lock the tilt up to 180°. Without a stand, the boom arm can also be used as a boom pole for audio recording.
