The potential tap for busbars with a fuse is ideal for measuring purposes of L or N conductors. It is equipped with an integrated SIBA fuse with a signaling function. The fuse is located directly above the live busbar and safely disconnects the downstream measuring unit in case of overload or short circuit before any major damage occurs.

The potential taps can be mounted directly onto the busbar. The clamping is secured by an internal hex screw using an insulated internal hex key, ensuring particularly good contact between the busbar and the fuse. This provides high operational safety and short-circuit resistance.

The connection of the measuring lead is made via a universal connection for all types of conductors with the advantage of direct insertion: Push-in. Conductors with sufficient bending stiffness, such as single-core and multi-core conductors as well as fine-stranded conductors with ferrules, can be plugged in directly without tools. The connection unit with fuse and Push-in CAGE CLAMP® is designed to be rotatable (±120°), facilitating subsequent wiring.

Additionally, the potential taps can be marked with two different labeling options.
