The device is used to control IO-Link capable digital field devices (e.g., actuators and hubs) and to capture digital signals from IO-Link capable field devices (e.g., sensors and hubs), which are sent or received by a higher-level controller. The device is designed as a Class B Master and offers 4 IO-Link ports or 4 digital inputs/outputs.

IO-Link:
The device features multiple IO-Link communication interfaces for collaboration with IO-Link devices. The IO-Link interface allows direct access to process and diagnostic data and provides the ability to adjust the parameters of connected devices during operation. The IODD can also be downloaded via the IODDfinder.
