The module outputs separately adjustable PWM signals on 4 channels. The channels can be individually configured as LSS (negative switching) or HSS (positive switching) and are designed to be short-circuit proof. The PWM signals are each 16 bits wide.
The module supports 5 operating modes. In the PWM DC and PWM Frq modes, all 4 channels can be used independently. If the same operating mode is set on a pair of channels (1 and 2 or 3 and 4), the bridge mode can also be activated. In this mode, the two involved channels operate synchronously and can be connected in parallel. In the other 3 complex operating modes, 2 channels correspond functionally. The PWM signal is output via the first channel, while a static signal (0 or 1) is output via the corresponding second channel. Please refer to the manual (Chapter Operating Modes) for the adjustment options and the meaning of the bits in the process image. The PWM DC operating mode is set in the factory default.
