The HPA V222 is a new symmetrical headphone amplifier in the Violectric lineup. As a true symmetrical amplifier, it features four output stages and not just symmetrical connection options. It is an evolution of the multiple award-winning HPA V200 and HPA V280, offering the unparalleled natural and pleasant sound that made its predecessors famous.

The amplifier has two stereo inputs, symmetrical via XLR and asymmetrical via RCA, which can be switched on the front panel. With a +/- 18 dB pre-gain, the HPA V222 can be optimally adjusted to the source and headphones. Volume control is managed through an RK 27 potentiometer with a large 38 mm full aluminum knob.

This powerful symmetrical stereo amplifier delivers 3500 mW Pmax at 50 Ohms and over 23V RMS at 600 Ohms. The headphone outputs are activated with a delay after powering on. The headphone outputs include 1x Pentaconn, symmetrical 1x 4-pin XLR, and asymmetrical 1x 6.3 mm jack.

The HPA V222 is equipped with a built-in power supply featuring a toroidal transformer and a filter capacitance of 22,000 µF.
