Product details

D/A converter, symmetrical headphone amplifier, and preamplifier. The Violectric DHA V226 is a new device in the Violectric lineup featuring a powerful D/A converter, a strong symmetrical headphone amplifier, and preamplifier functionality. The D/A converter is a new development using the Cirrus converter CS43131. This 32-bit converter offers a typical dynamic range of 130 dB with a THD+N of -115 dB. It supports PCM signals up to 32 bit and 384 kHz as well as DSD 256. The headphone amplifier is an evolution of the multiple award-winning HPA V200, V280, and V281. It delivers the incomparable natural and pleasant sound that made its predecessors famous. The DHA V226 not only offers one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market due to its unparalleled technology but also features minimal noise thanks to very low internal amplification. This makes the amplifier's own noise inaudible. High output voltage is achieved through a 50-volt internal operating voltage, making it ideal for high-impedance headphones. High output power is provided by powerful amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones require. Therefore, it is also well-suited for headphones with low impedances and planar magnetic headphones. A high damping factor is achieved through the lowest output impedance, making it perfect for driving even the most challenging headphones without interference, ensuring uncompromised frequency response.
