The last meter: You have already laid a patch cable in your rooms, for example behind shelves, under laminate, or behind baseboards. Until now, the length was sufficient for your device, but after rearranging the furniture, the existing cable is no longer long enough. You are missing the "last meter." Instead of replacing the entire patch cable, simply connect a patch cable extension of the length that suits you to your end device.

Protection of your device: Protect the port of your notebook, for example, by using this patch cable extension. With frequent plugging and unplugging of the patch cable, it is not the port of your notebook that is stressed, but rather the port of the extension. The patch cable is double-shielded with additional shielding for the twisted pairs. Thus, it is gigabit-capable, suitable for your fast DSL connection. The patch cable is of course backward compatible with older devices and installations of categories Cat.5 and Cat.5e. The RJ45 connector features a latch protection (RNS®) that prevents the latch on the top of the connector from bending. The twisted pairs consist of 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC), which allows for enhanced signal transmission of the cable.
