Until now, the length was sufficient for your device, but after rearranging the furniture, the existing cable is no longer long enough. You are missing the "last meter." Instead of replacing the entire patch cable, simply connect a patch cable extension of the length that suits you to your end device.

With frequent plugging and unplugging of the patch cable, it is the extension's port that takes the wear, not your notebook's port. The patch cable is double-shielded with additional shielding for the twisted pairs. Thus, it is gigabit-capable, suitable for your fast DSL connection. The patch cable is, of course, backward compatible with older devices and installations of categories Cat.5 and Cat.5e. The RJ45 connector features a latch protection (RNS®) that prevents the latch on the top of the connector from bending. The twisted pairs are made of 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC), which enhances the signal transmission of the cable.
