The SPT-3RT from the UNiKA Stage series is a clever tool. This battery-operated device allows for quick and easy testing of the phase of speakers or balanced cables. It is suitable for speaker manufacturers as well as for touring and fixed installation applications.
To test speakers, the SPT-3RT features a built-in microphone. External microphones can be used optionally. In conjunction with the SPT-3t signal generator, it reliably determines whether there is a phase error with a speaker. The volume of the pulse generator is adjustable.
Using the built-in XLR connectors of the transmitter and receiver, cables can also be quickly checked for twisted phases. Both pin 2 and pin 3 can be tested as hot. This allows for quick identification of faults in the system.
A compact solution for locating phase issues in speakers, with an integrated microphone and built-in signal generator, supporting external microphones, and functioning as a cable tester for balanced XLR runs.
